    This position is a senior level IT position responsible for providing leadership to proactively create and direct enterprise-wide network technologies that support business operations and service quality. This position will contribute to the overall engineering, design, build and high level support of all existing and new network infrastructure using the latest technologies provide leadership to the Network team. This position will work in a team environment to develop and manage our Video, Data Network and ISP services focusing on reliability, performance and security.

     

    Ensures compliance with established Company policies and procedures. Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position including but not limited to the following: Regulation Z (Truth in Lending Act), Regulation B (Equal Credit Opportunity Act), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Bank Secrecy Act in conjunction with the USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering and Customer Information Program, Right to Financial Privacy Act (state and federal) and Community Reinvestment Act.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversees and coordinates the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of the Company’s local, wide, wireless, Internet and Intranet networks and telephone and Voice Over IP (VoIP) systems); maintains file servers, routers, firewalls, laptops, network or stand-alone computers, or any other hardware components; ensures the highest levels of security and stability are maintained to protect customer deposits, Company assets and staff.
    • Plans, coordinates, oversees, manages, implements, troubleshoots, and administers complex network administration and projects involving researching, installing, configuring and maintaining all network hardware and software.
    • Troubleshoots user issues or inquiries, such as password resets, hardware problems or software support questions; administers the Company’s information technology case logging system to ensure technical issues are properly reported and resolved within established quality service level guidelines; responds to inquiries and refers issues to the appropriate department or person, and exhibits the necessary follow through with customers and/or staff involved.
    • Performs routine system or user administrative tasks, such as system specification changes or the addition, change, or deletion of employees on the Company’s various systems and networks; ensures necessary documentation is attained and properly authorized for such requests; originates and maintains system and user files.
    • Monitors and implements cyber security policies, standards, and guidelines.
    • Serves as the in-house expert on ancillary core processing products and perform access control monitoring
    • Monitors and reports on the core vendor’s compliance with contract SLA’s.
    • Consults with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.
    • Meets with business unit managers to solicit cooperation and resolve problems with the Bank’s core vendor.
    • Assists in developing department goals, policies and procedures; makes recommendations.
    • Creates and reviews project plans.
    • Oversees the use of the bank’s processing test bank.
    • Serves on the committees as deemed necessary.
    • Represents the IT Department in project and other ad hoc meetings.
    • Ensures that core processing training guidelines are used adequately.
    • Coordinates core processing business continuity testing.
    • Supervises network administration staff; ensures the organization of the department, coordinating available resources (e.g., staff, materials, etc.) for maximum results.
    • Monitors staff in daily tasks, operations and quality control; ensures the organization of assigned areas of the department, coordinating available resources (e.g., staff, materials, etc.) for maximum results.
    • Plays a positive role in the development and growth of assigned department staff through excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong delegation skills assuring a highly cross-trained staff.
    • Performs personnel actions including performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and interviewing candidates for employment; supervises the daily activities of the department including, but not limited to, effective delegation of assignments, developing work schedules and providing necessary training.

    Qualifications

    These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the position in a satisfactory manner. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines.

    • Bachelor’s degree (BA) from a four (4) year college or university, or equivalent education from a technical or trade school; or 5 to 8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Work related experience should consist of a technical background in information systems management, products or services. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or technical industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related. Industry certification preferred.
    • Speaking, reading and writing in Korean is a plus.
    • Ability to deliver bilingual customer service in Korean, Gujarati, Urdu, Hindi, Chinese, Vietnamese, or Spanish is preferred.
    • In-depth knowledge of Cisco’s product lines.
    • Experience with configuring and troubleshooting routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP…)
    • Experience with in configuring and troubleshooting Layer 2 networking
    • Palo Alto Firewalls
    • Extensive knowledge of Switching Technology. Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining managed and unmanaged network switches.
    • Extensive experience with writing Access Control Lists (ACL’s) and Security Policies.
    • Experience with HSRP, VoIP, QoS, VSS, VMPS, PBR, PVLAN, and other IOS features.
    • Experience with NTP, TCP/IP, and Windows Systems.
    • Cisco Meraki MX/MS/MR devices
    • Cisco Unified Communications (preferred) . Experience with HSRP, VoIP, QoS, VSS, VMPS, PBR, PVLAN, and other IOS features.
    • WAN technologies (MPLS/IPVPN/MOE) required.
    • VPN technologies (IPSEC and SSL) required.
    • Experience with network patch management required.
    • Advanced dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) required.
    • TCP/IP and general network management experience required.
    • Troubleshooting advanced wireless communication preferred.
    • Strong understanding of network concepts related to High Availability, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery related to Open Systems architecture.
    • Create network plans, document the existing network, and communicate with business partners to establish connectivity.
    • Negotiate with technical solution providers and vendors to provide recommendations on equipment purchases and upgrades to the existing network infrastructure.
    • Advanced experience, knowledge and training in progressively responsible information technology department operations and supervisory activities.
    • Advanced knowledge on implementing cyber risk management structures, governance models and organizational transformations in the areas of cyber security.
    • Advanced skills in information technology operations, voice and data communications, troubleshooting techniques, user and software support; including but not limited to, desktop applications and network administrative programs and resources.
    • Intermediate math skills; ability to calculate interest and balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.
    • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, train personnel, read, analyze and interpret documents and professional journals, understand procedures, write reports, correspondence and procedures, speak clearly to customers and employees.
    • Demonstrate strong analytical and project management skills for a variety of tasks or projects.
    • Ability to deal with difficult technical problems involving multiple facets, variables and situations where only limited standardization exists.
    • Ability to work with minimal or no supervision while performing duties.
    • Current driver’s license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
