  • Overview

    The Treasury Management Services Officer is responsible for supporting Treasury Management sales efforts, and department administrative duties, and customer service requirements. Regularly interacts with clients, internal and external, within the context of the bank’s strategic growth plan, identifies un-met client needs, and supports achievement of team or market goals in new client development and retention, non-credit loss prevention, and revenue growth.

    Ensures compliance with established Company policies and procedures. Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position including but not limited to the following: Regulation Z (Truth in Lending Act), Regulation B (Equal Credit Opportunity Act), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Bank Secrecy Act in conjunction with the USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering and Customer Information Program, Right to Financial Privacy Act (state and federal) and Community Reinvestment Act.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    1. Work with the Treasury Management Sales Officers and important business partners in client relationship planning, implementations, training, and retention efforts.
    2. Direct contact for the support for on-site customer training, installation, and trouble-shooting.
    3. Provides accurate, timely and extensive information to all client inquiries and requests, to ensure high level of customer service and retention of clients.
    4. Acts as a liaison between clients and various Bank units to idependently respond to client inquires and resolve outstanding or complex issues.
    5. Prioritizes workflow and provides technical input to assist the team in problem resolution.
    6. Will assist the team with mora complex and escalated issues and attaining permanent solutions to client inquires.
    7. Provides consultative input to Operations and Product Managmeent for problem resolution and prevention.
    8. Assists all areas of the Bank to coordinate inter and intra-departmental activities; resolves inquiries or issues relating to more complex treasury management matters.

     

    Qualifications

    These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines.

     

     

    • High school diploma and at least five (5) years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related. Work experience should include a minimum of two (2) years in a senior related role.

     

    • Strong analytical, organizational, leadership and problem solving skills.

     

    • Advanced skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; intermediate typing skills to meet production needs of the position.

    • Advanced math skills; ability to calculate interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.

     

    • Knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, Bank operational policies and procedures, and the Bank’s products and services.
