  • Overview

    The Loan Monitoring Analyst is responsible for all impound escrow account analysis, property tax delinquency monitoring and research, and collateral hazard/liability/flood insurance tracking, force-placement, and UCC-1 entity change monitoring and notification. Effectively communicate with management, lending personnel, vendors, borrowers, and other related parties.


    1. Prepares and sends various reports to staff and validates system information.  
    2. Tracks and sends flood insurance expiration notices and flood map changes to lending staff
    3. Tracks and monitors lender required insurance (force placed) 
    4. Tracks, monitors, and processes and verify delinquent property taxes on behalf of the Bank 
    5. Reviews and submits invoices related to the department expenses  
    6. Communicates effectively with Commercial Lending Staff and Management 
    7. Conducts and provides escrow analysis of impound commercial loan to loan officers. 
    8. Organize the payment schedule with external departments and the account officers to issue payments for property taxes and hazard insurance premiums due for impounded loans
    9. Researches property tax payment with County Tax Collector and follow-up with County staff if necessary 
    10. Tracks and sends UCC-1 entity change alerts to appropriate lending staff 
    11. Maintains knowledge of the Bank’s underwriting and lending guidelines


    • Bachelor's degree preferred with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting or Economics; High School Diploma and at least 1-2 years of related experience and/or training. Work related experience must consist of a credit analysis or other credit related background. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related.
    •  Commercial real estate and/or SBA analysis/underwriting experience a plus
