    Hanmi Bank is seeking a Senior IT Application Specialist for our corporate headquarters located in Los Angeles, CA.

     

    The Senior Application Specialist is responsible for providing Tier 2 technical support assistance to users of the company’s hardware systems or related software application platforms. Ensures the company’s hardware, systems or applications are operating in a secure and stable manner as directed. Strong understanding of bank specific applications.

     

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Provides Tier 2 hardware, software and telephone support to Bank personnel, including front-line loan and deposit staff, with respect to related Bank hardware or software application platforms. Provides step-by-step technical instruction and support. Trouble-shoots and resolves problems. Logs issues into the Bank’s information technology case system.

    • Oversees all technical aspects of the Bank’s BSA software (Bankers Toolbox), including daily file transfers, user access, version upgrades and daily user support. Works closely with the BSA Department to ensure daily workflow functions properly. Communicates with Bankers Toolbox technical support to resolve problems.

    • Provide guidance and training to less experienced IT Specialists.

    • Assists in the configuration and administration of Bank systems or applications to ensure changes are methodologically planned, executed and verified.

    • Assists in analyzing and deploying hardware or software updates and other patch management directives.

    • Assists in special projects and tasks for the department of a diverse nature.

    • Works with vendors and various outside professional information technology organizations in the maintenance and resolve complex system hardware and software applications issues.

    • Performs routine system or user administrative tasks, such as system specification changes, additions, changes, or creates and deletes new employees on-boarding on the Bank’s various systems and applications. Ensures necessary documentation is attained and properly authorized for such requests. Originates and maintains system and user files.

    • Handle Tier 1 & Tier 2 help desk escalations.

    • Manage and monitor internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records.

    • Assist the Senior Programmer and Senior Network Administrator with ongoing projects and day-to-day tasks  

    Qualifications

     Knowledge and Experience with :

    •      Fiserv products such as Navigator, Integrated Teller, Premier Director, Business Analytic and etc.
    •      BKTB products such as BAM+, BSA Manager, SAR Manager, CTR Manager, Fraud Manager, WirePro Enterprise, WirePro Branch, etc
    •      Operating Systems (Windows 7/10, Windows Server 2008/2012), Microsoft SQL Data Base, Webservers.
    •      Application change management
    •      Troubleshooting tools and techniques related to networks and systems, i.e. remote access tools, Windows support tools, connectivity tests, etc.

    General understanding of:

    •      Active directory management and access management
    •      Troubleshooting and maintaining desktop, laptop, printers, scanners, etc.
    •      GLBA and BSA regulations
